In accordance with the By-Laws of the Niagara Falls Lightning Gymnastics Club, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held as follows:

Voting

• Each member family in good standing is entitled to one (1) vote regardless of the number of gymnasts in the family, in accordance with Section 8.03 of the Club’s By-Laws.

• Voting by proxy is not permitted.

• Parents/guardians of competitive gymnasts under the age of eighteen (18) and competitive gymnasts aged eighteen (18) and over are automatically Niagara Falls Club members

• Employees of the Club are non-voting members

• Others can become members by application - see Become a Member for information on becoming a Niagara Falls Lightning Gymnastics Club member

Attendance Requirement

As outlined in the competitive family contracts, an AGM Buy-out Fee of $50 will be charged to competitive families who do not attend.

Business of the Meeting

The business transacted at the Annual General Meeting shall include:

• Receipt of the agenda

• Approval of the minutes of the 2024 AGM and January 2025 Special Meeting

• Presentation and approval of the financial statements

• Treasurer’s Report

• Appointment of the auditor for the coming year

• Appointment of Directors

• Such other or special business as may be set out in the agenda
